Nice concert from early to mid-80's
My DVD player was unable to recognize this disc, but I have my laptop hooked up to my LCD TV and when I played the disc through the (free) VLC media player software, it worked fine.
The cover shows Tony in a black and white photo from the 1960's, and the show is about 20 years newer than that. The concert I estimate is from the early to mid 1980's. Tony looks younger than in most of the DVD's available of his concerts, and he makes a reference to the musical 42nd Street-- which is what leads me to believe this is early to mid 80's. Performances of Tony on DVD from his younger years are very difficult to find. He was treading water in his singing career in the 70's and 80's due to a waning interest in crooning standard singers.
